- A history of the French Revolution beginning in 1789 with the King’s decision to convene the Etats-Generaux in order to cope with France’s debt. The first focuses on 1789- August 10, 1792 (when King Louis XVI lost all authority and was placed in prison).The second part carries the story through the end of the terror in 1794, including the deaths by guillotine of Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette, Danton, and Desmoulins.
- An engaging and historically accurate account of the entire unit, best utilised at either the introduction or conclusion of the unit.

- This site is a must-use as it is an .edu or trusted educational resource that has compiled an array of different types of sources that will help any level of student to gain the information they might be looking for. Strongly recommended as we have included this resource in an ICT integrated lesson that has been included in our lesson plan.

- Excerpts of Robespierre’s speech 5th February 1794. Includes relevant background information to the speech, including the historical context. The excerpts selected accurately reflect the opinions of Robespierre regarding ‘The Terror’.
- Reliable and accurate educational resource that is applicable from medium to higher learning levels as it is strongly word and reading based. Students with reading difficulties may struggle.

- Provides an overview to the French Revolution as presented by a lecturer. This website is a resource hub as it has included a bibliography of further reading and links to all subject related materials.
- Strongly recommended for teachers aid as it has many resources that would be invaluable to show the students. Would apply to medium level ability students as independence and confidence in researching skills would be needed to follow up the suggested readings.
